This is allured depending on the basis of enquiries and books made during the exhibitions, said the President, CREDAI, Orissa Chapter.

During the last expo of CREDAI held in January 2011 bookings of about 400 property units were recorded. According to the organizers, this time around, the figure might go even more.

As many as 35 real estate developers took part and set up their stalls in the Property Expo-2011. The expo that attracted thousands of keen customers from various walks of life was held from October 20-23.

The developers showcased around 5,000 residential complexes including flats, bungalows, duplex and triplex at different locations around the city.

Among the customers, demand for flats, in the price range of Rs 30 to 40 lakhs within the city, was quite more. This was in sharp contrast to the demand for low cost housing projects in the price range of Rs 9-25 lakhs on the outskirt of the city.
