India largest developers in real estate industry, DLF ltd has started selling their budget homes in south region of Bangalore at an affordable price of Rs.28 lakh. It’s great news for the middle class people who dream of their own houses, earlier the price was more than Rs.70 lakh for majority of flats and this is something which has been taking place since many years. DLF is the leading real estate company has shifted to construct and sell plots in place of apartments for improvement of profit margin but it doesn’t help in cutting down the debts. This year plotted development projects have been launched by DLF on a big scale in many locations.
In Shimla DLF is constructing villas and in Chennai they are planning to construct luxury apartments to boost up their residential sales. A year ago many developers started to work on the concept of affordable housing to boost up the realty sales. The hike interest rates have made buyers reluctant to purchase property but it can be curbed by the affordable housing project. The flats fulfilling the affordable housing criteria are priced between 20 to 40 lakh. According to experts of the real estate this will help a lot to increase the sales which was highly affected by the global crisis.
