Indian real estate has observed growth in the sectors in years 2000-2007. But this fast growth of the real estate came to an end in the year 2008 due to the crash in market. Now it has become difficult for the real estate to recover the loss suffered in year 2008. Recession has slowed down the market and developers are putting best of their efforts to increase the rate of sales and to recover the loss suffered. Global downturn was reported in year 2008 which has affected the real estate market. Investors are feeling reluctant to invest in the market.
The real estate in order to make up for the loss suffered by developers and the market as a whole need to discuss and plan strategy for affordable housing. Affordable housing is often confused with low cost housings, low cost housing is a concept design for weaker section of the economy whereas in this project of affordable housing the developers target buyers of all types. This area is new because of which growth is expected from this area. Demand of houses is likely to increase by 2012 and this concept of affordable housing can do wonders for the real estate. If the builder wants to earn profits and make up for the loss suffered they have no better option but to support
