Two residential projects are coming up in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. Tata Housing Development Company will be developing these two projects with an estimated investment of Rs. 1,000 crore. Mr. Brotin Banerjee the MD & CEO of the company while talking to reporters said that the company is planning to execute two residential projects, one each in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh and it will invest Rs 1000 crore for the purpose.
The residential project that will come up in Punjab will be in the affordable and value home category and will be developed on Public Private Partnership mode that will be spread over an area ranging from 30 to 60 acres. The project in Himachal Pradesh will be a luxury housing project spread over an area of up to 10 acres. Mr. Banerjee said that a major chunk from the proposed investment amount will be utilized to develop the project in Punjab and the rest will be invested in Himachal Pradesh.
He also stated that Tata Housing Development Company is also planning to set up projects for affordable homes in Ludhiana, Jalandhar and the outskirts of Chandigarh on Public Private Partnership mode because the price of land is high in the state.
