Vibrant Gujarat summit inspires builders to invest in Gujarat

The Vibrant Gujarat summit which will begin shortly is all geared up to give a boost to the state’s housing supply apart from investments. The summit is focused towards the smaller cities and towns of Gujarat. CREDAI (Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Association of India) which is an apex body of builders will have about 50 of its builder members sign housing project investment agreements at the summit. The investments will be worth Rs 15000 crores. Upcoming real estate projects in Gujarat have already attracted the interest of builders from Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Jaipur, Coimbatore and Mohali.

According to Jaxay Shah who is the president of CREDAI, Gujarat Vibrant Gujarat summit will witness the participation of CREDAI for the first time. He said that there is every possibility of CREDAI builders joining hands with local developers to develop housing projects. Gujarat already enjoys the presence of major players of the country like Godrej, DLF, Indiabulls and Rahejas. Getamber Anand, the vice-president of CREDAI said that one of the important emerging real estate markets of the country is Gujarat. ATS Infrastructure which is a Noida based realty company owned by Anand is all set to invest Rs 250 crores to develop affordable housing projects.
