The Home Owner’s association is a group formed within a community of home owner’s with the help of which, issues relating to various problems of the neighbourhood households are solved. The Home Owner’s Association is somewhat similar to insurance schemes whereby the risks attached to one particular household are shared by the entire community of dwellers. Problems may be of a variety of types. Theft, water supplies, electricity and other moral hazard problems are generally the topics discussed in these associations.
