Godrej Properties and Southend Infrastructure to Develop 5 Acre Luxury Housing in Okhla, Delhi

Godrej Properties, part of the Godrej Group, signed a development agreement through Wonderspace Properties, one of its subsidiaries, with Delhi based Southend Infrastructure to develop a 5 acre luxury residential project in Okhla, Phase 1, in Delhi. The luxurious housing project will come up alongside the main road located between Greater Kailash and Mathura Road. Mr Pirojsha Godrej, CEO and MD of Godrej Properties was buoyantly optimistic about their first foray into Delhi, hoping it will spearhead more such ventures in the city. Godrej already has two ongoingresidential housing projects in Gurgaon, part of its township and commercial projects spread across 85 million square feet covering twelve cities across the country.

Godrej Frontier and Godrej Summit in Gurgaon, Godrej Palm Grove in Chennai, Godrej E-city in Bangalore and Godrej Garden City, Ahmedabad, are the other projects of Godrej, aimed at providing luxury housing at affordable prices in a planned township.

Godrej Properties, with headquarters in Mumbai, generated revenues of over Rs. 426 crores during the past fiscal with profits touching Rs. 122 crores. Southend Infrastructure is Okhla based, established in 2005
