South Asian Real Estate (SARE) which is a foreign direct investment (FDI) fund focusing on real estate is teaming up with Punjab-based Impact Projects for a joint investment of Rs 250 crore which will be utilized to develop an integratehttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifd township in Amritsar. The said integrated township will cover an area of more than 104 acres. The township will have low rise towers, independent villas along with other amenities like secured environment, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, transportation & communication facilities and entertainment. Apart from Amritsar, SARE is planning to develop joint venture real estate projects in other locations in Punjab like Mullanpur, Mohali and even locations near Jalandhar or Ludhiana. It has also shown interest for Panchkula in Haryana.
Mr. Vineet Relia, the CEO of SARE while talking to Business Standard said that the growth of real estate has now encompassed smaller towns and cities and in North India Amritsar is one of those destinations which holds great promise. He further added that it is because of this that SARE has teamed up with Impact Projects which is Punjab based realty firm to launch an integrated township named ‘Crescent ParC’ in Amritsar that is spread in an area of over 104 acres. Mr. Relia said that this project will cater to Punjab’s middle income group.
